Cavalier Logistics today announced that it joined the SmartWay® Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry that provides a framework to assess the environmental and energy efficiency of goods movement supply chains.

ICS2: Release 2 – Important Information
 
The second release of the European Union's Import Control System 2 (ICS2). As of March 1st, many airlines have implemented a “soft launch” of a new customs security and safety program requiring electronic data for a pre-loading risk assessment of air cargo entering or transiting the European market.

The new requirement applies to all goods shipped by air into the EU, Northern Ireland, Norway and Switzerland, regardless of the value.

Cavalier Logistics Celebrates the Grand Opening of Jessup II

A Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held June 14th, 2021 celebrating the second State-of-the-Art 3PL facility to open on Howard County, Maryland. Honoring Cavalier with their presence were Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, Maryland Department of Commerce representative Bill Sorenson, and key members of the Howard County Economic Development Authority - HCEDA.

Cavalier Supporting the Frontlines!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Cavalier is happy to report that, as an essential business, we have not had a pause in our operations. Not only do we continue to do the important work of logistics and transportation, but we are grateful to play a part in delivering much needed supplies and pharma materials throughout the world. Allow us to recount one such delivery.

On Friday April 3rd 2020 the international department at Cavalier Logistics’ Dulles, Virginia office received a message from one of our customers, Project Hope - a charitable nonprofit organization. They were donating desperately needed N95 respirator masks, gloves and lab coats to hospitals in New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico which are battling the coronavirus pandemic.
