Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Domestic Operations Agent to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can offer a high standard of accuracy and customer service to fulfill the client shipping needs. The ideal candidate will assist our customers in every aspect of their shipment from pickup to delivery.

- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner
- Impeccable customer service
- Accommodate clients’ freight routing needs
- Perform cost analysis of services provided by different vendors
- Schedule pick-up and delivery of cargo
- Preparing and/or proofreading all associated documents
- Providing proof of delivery to customers
- Share on-call duties with other department members
- Work closely with other departments (export/import) to deliver high level of service to customers
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills a must
- Willing and able to learn new tasks with training provided
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with demanding deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and solve problems efficiently
- Must have good typing skills and quick on tasks
- Must be able to pass a background check
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Industry Experience:
- Industry experience a plus, two to three - years experience preferred
