Cavalier Logistics is an FMC Licensed Ocean Transport Intermediary and has contracts with all the major steamship lines.  In particular, we have a very close working relationship with the main U.S. Flag carriers.  We do however, have contracts with numerous shipping lines which provides Cavalier greater flexibility over schedule and price.  As an NVOCC with eight offices in the United States, Cavalier is able to pool container volume from multiple clients, thus providing a higher volume to the steamship lines.
 
We utilize a variety of software tools in planning supply chain movements for our clients in addition to the schedules provided by the steamship lines themselves.  However on many occasions, the sensitive nature  and / or ultimate destination of the shipment requires a customized shipping plan and our staff works closely with the line to ensure all relevant requirements are met.
