Relief Mission to Pakistan

Cavalier provides transportation and logistics support to a variety of customers. We are a partner to a U.S. AID organization that specializes in assisting developing countries providing both medical supplies and workers. Unfortunately, in most instances a tragedy either natural or manmade has occurred. Should a disaster arise, Cavalier is always there to lend a helping hand. One such instance occurred late last year. In December 2006, Cavalier was called upon to orchestrate the assembly and delivery of millions of dollars of perishable vaccines to the Northern region of Pakistan.

Kashmir Pakistan was virtually annihilated by a massive earthquake, leaving thousands of people without food, clothing, shelter or medical aid. A Cavalier professional was dispatched to accompany the vaccines aboard the chartered aircraft to ensure the medicines protected and remain in the required temperature. Once the aircraft arrived at the nearest airport, the shipment was then transported to the final remote destination where it was then distributed. Cavalier witnessed the devastation firsthand, and was there providing assistance for this very critical mission.
