As part of Cavalier's ongoing development of the Brazilian market with sister company BRL, two of our top sales people were recently rewarded with a sales trip to Brazil. This encompassed both work and some well deserved rest.

The work comprised visiting our existing customers as well as manning the BRL booth at the Hospitalar 2008, the second largest exhibition in Brazil. Cavalier/BRL were the only logistics companies to have a booth at the exhibition and our success was phenomenal.

“The fact that we have our own office in Brazil and that we have a division dedicated to Bio-Pharma was a huge hit with exhibitors and visitors. This was the best exhibition I have ever attended” commented Jill Bosch of our Chicago office.

Penny Valley from our Headquarters in Virginia stated “To be able to offer first class service in a market in which so many companies struggle is a huge competitive advantage for both companies and we are here to highlight it”.

After the exhibition, the team moved to Rio de Janeiro to enjoy the beach, the stunning views and some of the legendary samba and bossa nova.“The people of Brasil and especially at BRL could not have been friendlier or more hospitable. It was a great trip!” said Penny. We think she might be trying to go again next year!!!!
